Jeanette Knox Rowe

Jeanette Knox Rowe, 76, of Tifton, formerly of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Tift Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Rodney Nix officiating. 

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Monday, January 31, 2022, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Born May 13, 1945, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Walton T. Knox, Sr. and Carrie Belle Shirah Knox.  Jeanette retired from the City of Doerun as the bookkeeper.  She loved her family dearly and enjoyed taking care of Sandy.   In her spare time, she like listening to music, reading, drawing, traveling, crocheting, and watching Nascar.  Jeanette was a wonderful woman who will be missed by many.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Knox; brother-in-law, Gary Coley.

Survivors include her children, Kimberly Taylor Gay and husband Don of Franklin, TN, Sandy Naylor of Tifton, GA; grandchildren, Matthew Gay and wife Erin of Tifton, Charity Densmore and husband Tyler of Dublin, GA; siblings, Betty Coley of Grand Ball, GA, Walton T. “Junior” Knox, Jr. of Moultrie, Linda Taylor and husband Robert of Albany, Bobby Knox and wife Reather of Moultrie and other family members.
