Jessie "Junior" Martin, Jr.

Jessie “Junior” Martin, Jr., 80, of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, September 20, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Bobby Wiard officiating.    Interment will be in Westview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 PM Monday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Born April 25, 1941, in Thomasville, Georgia, he was the son of the late Jesse Martin and Gladys Phillips Martin.  Mr. Martin was a United States Army National Guard Veteran and was the owner of Martin Motors.   He enjoyed fishing and selling cars.  His wife remembers how he liked to joke and talk smack.

in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Tillman Martin.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Wilkes Martin of Moultrie; son, Timmy Martin; one grandson; one step-sister; and a host of family members and friends.
