John "JC" Clyde Bell

John Clyde Bell, known as J.C. to all friends and family, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at the age of eighty-one years old. 

J.C. was born in Hilliard, FL on October 13, 1943, and was raised in Baldwin, FL. J.C. was stationed in Korea and served in the United States Army for three years. Afterwards, he put himself through college and earned the title of President of Barnett Bank. J.C. spent his spare time sharing Jesus with those around him, working on carpentry projects in his shop, and being a remarkable husband, father, Granddaddy, brother, friend, and faithful believer of Jesus Christ.

 J.C. is proceeded in death by his father and mother, GW, Jr. & Beaulah Bell; and his brother, George Bell. 

J.C. is survived by his loving wife of almost twenty-nine years, Patricia Bell; his brother and sister-in-law, James & Pat Bell; his sisters, Ernestine Papovitch & Justine Gann; his sons and daughters-in-law, Philip & Tera Bell and Jason & Jackie Bell; his eldest granddaughter, Faith Bell; his youngest granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Rebecca & Tyler Harry; and his great-grandsons, Theo, Baby A, and Baby B. 

Family and friends are invited to the visitation (10:00 A.M.) and funeral/graveside services (11:00 A.M.) at Liberty Hill Baptist Church (728 Liberty Hill Rd. Doerun, GA 31744) on Monday, January 20, 2025 to reminisce and celebrate the life and legacy of J.C. Bell.
