MOULTRIE, GA – Johnny Ray Lipsey, 77, of Moultrie, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 28, 2025, at Wesley Chapel South with the Reverend Thomas Parrish officiating. Interment will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends and family from 10:00-10:45 AM Friday at Wesley Chapel South.
Casketbearers will be Stacey Ferguson, Brian Robinson, Garrison Gay, Allen Carter, Tony Lipsey and Matt Hayes.
Born December 14, 1947, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Henry Roscoe Lipsey and Blanche Goff Lipsey. Mr. Johnny was a life-long resident of Moultrie, and a graduate of Moultrie High School and continued his education at ABAC College. He proudly served his country from 1969-1974 in the Army National Guard. Mr. Johnny worked for GA Telephone and Electronics for 17 years and later went on to be the owner of Lipsey Telecom Construction. He was a loyal member of Wesley Chapel South Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded death by his stepmother, Frazier Presley Lipsey; siblings, Donald Lipsey, Wayne Lipsey, and Marie Heath.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Donna Crosby Lipsey; nieces and nephews, Garrison Gay, Heather Clark, Tara Pasionek, Tony Lipsey, Laura Hayes, Nicole Jackson, Pamela Ferguson, Ashley Hart, and Jon Ellis Varnadoe; beloved fur babies, Gunner and Josie.
