Juanita Gregory Wright

Juanita Gregory Wright, 88, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023, at Cobblestone Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Moultrie. 

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel in Moultrie, Georgia with Reverend Corey Shiver officiating.   

Born June 2, 1934, in Dover, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Richard H. Gregory and Minnie Powers Gregory.  She retired from Riverside Manufacturing Company and was a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God in Pelham, GA. Mrs. Wright enjoyed working in her flower garden.  She was always eager to give of herself when someone had a need, and she loved fellowshipping and talking with others. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hilliard Staten Smith; brother, Eugene Gregory; sister, Elsie Gregory Krietner of Belleville, Illinois; and granddaughter Rhonda Smith of Moultrie.

Survivors include her children, Billy Smith and wife Debra, Dorathy Smith Weaver and husband Van, all of Moultrie, and Steve Smith of Sylvester; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren; sisters, Patsy Dees and Virginia Williamson of Belleville, Illinois; multiple nieces and nephews.
