Kala Ann Autrey Tucker

MEIGS, GA – Kala Ann Autrey Tucker, 60, of Meigs, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023, at Miller County Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, October 26, 2023, at New Bethel Baptist Church with the Reverend Emory Autrey officiating.   Interment will follow in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45AM Thursday at New Bethel Baptist Church.

Born September 29, 1963, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of Barbara Ann Cain Autrey of Moultrie and the late Marion Daniel Autrey.  Mrs. Kala was a former LPN at Brownwood Nursing Home and later spent her time as a homemaker caring for her family.    She was a Christian and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.   Mrs. Kala was a soft-hearted, caring, sweet wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly.  

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Roland and sister, Angela French.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Michael Ray Tucker of Meigs; children, April Renea Martin and husband Patrick, Jennifer Nicole Ranne all of Moultrie; grandchildren, Phoebe Martin, Ivy Ranne, Gage Ranne and Gavin Ranne; nephew, Seth French and wife Albany; great-nephew, Mason French and several extended family members and friends.
