April 13, 1981 — March 10, 2022

Kandie Leigh Kerce Palma, 40, of Yulee, formerly of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022, at her home surrounded by family.

Funeral services, with military honors, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Temple Baptist Church with the Reverend Shane Smith officiating.  Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Temple Baptist Church. 

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Blackrock Baptist Church, 96362 Blackrock Road, Yulee, FL. 32097.

Born April 13, 1981, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of Hilda Jeanette Lanoue Brewer of Yulee, Florida and the late Lawrence Samuel Kerce.   Kandie was a 10-year Veteran of the United States Navy.  She loved her family, enjoyed going to the beach, and being a lifeguard.  Kandie had a passion for life, she enjoyed her job as a waitress where she was able to meet new people.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Nathan Teal.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her children, Isabella Palma, Alyssia Palma and Gabriella Palma; stepfather, Charles Brewer of Yulee, FL; life partner, Jimmy Odom of Fernandina Beach, FL; siblings, Travis Eadens and wife Pon of St. John’s FL, Ethan Locklear of Concord, NC, Kennis Kerce and wife Michelle of Panama City, FL, Samuel Kerce and wife Tina of Adel, GA, Dusty Kerce and wife Nikki of Eagle River, WI; grandmother, Sylvia Riggs of Simi Valley, CA; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
