Karen Williams Perkins

MOULTRIE, GA – Karen Williams Perkins, 83, of Moultrie, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Archbold Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.   

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel. 

Interment will follow in Funston Cemetery, Funston, GA.

Casketbears include Chris Williams, Chris Proctor, Nathaniel Perkins and Clinton Proctor.

Born January 30, 1940, in Colquitt County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lumpkin Williams and Lessie Dunn Williams.  Mrs. Perkins loved her family dearly and the anchor that held them all together.  She was considered an excellent example of what a wife, mother, and grandmother should be.  Mrs. Perkins enjoyed helping other people and volunteered as a Pink Lady when she was younger.  She was a great cook and enjoyed taking care of her family.  Mrs. Perkins was of the Baptist Faith and attended Autryville Baptist Church when she was able.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Marie Perkins Moore; and her brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, O.L. “Pete” Perkins, children, Danny Ray Perkins and Ricky Lee Perkins and wife Karen; Bonus son, Chris Proctor; grandchildren, Nathaniel Perkins and Clinton Proctor and wife Morgan; great-granddaughter, Kylah Proctor; and a number of extended family members and friends.
