Kelly Ranae Wooden

Kelly Ranae Wooden, 63, born March 11, 1961, to Morris and Ann Hughes, peacefully departed this life on August 10, 2024.

Kelly grew up in Chattanooga following a brief time in Moultrie, Georgia where she was born and spent many summers and holidays. In her youth she enjoyed swimming, cross-stitch and talking to friends on her CB Radio. She was proud of the time she spent as a candy striper at Colquitt Regional Medical Center and continued to talk of it fondly in recent months. 

Kelly leaves behind a loving family, survived by her mother Ann R. Hughes, one sister Kym Hughes, her son: Kellys only nephew, Dane Hughes, as well as an extended family of cousins and friends. 

Kelly is preceded in death by her father Morris W. Hughes, maternal grandparents I.F. & Loriece Ragan, and paternal grandparents K.E. & Juanita Hughes.

A Graveside Service will be held at Westview Cemetery on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 10 am where Kelly will be laid to rest, surrounded by the love of those she cherished.
