Kenneth Duncan Wood, 82, of Moultrie, passed away Monday, May 31, 2021, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 3, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Matt Peek officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45 AM Thursday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Born September 10. 1938 in Enigma, Georgia, he was the son of the late James Duncan Wood and Lillian Audelia Porter Wood. Mr. Wood was the owner/operator of Kenwood Refrigeration and was a member of First Baptist Church. He loved his grandchildren, enjoyed working, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoyed southern gospel music and sometimes you can catch him singing to himself or with a quartet.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters and brother, Evelyn Evers, Dorothy Smith, Virginia Buckley and Raymond Wood.
Survivors include his children, Robin Wood Gay of Panama City, FL, Kenneth Dwayne Wood of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, John Gabriel Wood, Lillian Elizabeth Gay, Dillon James Wood; mother of his children, Ina Joyce Wood of Panama City, FL; sister, Rebecca Pressley of Moultrie; nieces, Joan Smith Walker, Vickie Smith Carr and husband Rusty, Kathy Buckley Belton, Becky Evers Cyr; nephews, Tommy Smith and wife Celia, Michael Buckley and wife Susie.
