Kim Delray Pate

ALBANY, GA – Kim Delray Pate, 57, of Mitchell County passed away Friday, February 17, 2023, at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, February 24, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends after the service at Cobb Funeral Chapel. Born May 22, 1965, in Albany, Georgia, he was the son of Sammy Pate, Jr. and Mary Watlington Pate Edwards. Mr. Pate was a very sensitive, humorous, and caring person who dearly loved his family. He enjoyed being outdoors whenever he could and liked to fish or hunt when he was able. Mr. Pate was a dedicated employee of Enterprise Rental Cars who enjoyed his job. Survivors include his daughter, Amber Pate and his son, Alec Pate, both of Greenville, SC; his mother, Mary Lanell Edwards and husband Cecil of Doerun; father, Sammy Pate, Jr. of Albany; sister, Tina Ortiz and husband Roberto and their 3 children.
