Kristof Leon Rolf Hillebrand

Kristof Leon Rolf Hillebrand, 48, of Jacksonville, formerly of Moultrie, died Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the home of his mother.

          A private graveside service will be in Westview Cemetery.  Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are recommended.

          Born December 25, 1971 in Germany, he was the son of Frances Ann “Cooka” Pippin Hillebrand of Moultrie and the late Pieter Rolf Albert Martin Hillebrand.   Mr. Hillebrand was the C.E.O. of Global Forest LLC and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.   In 1990 he graduated from Rocky Mountain Academy in Bonners Ferry, ID and continued his education at Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, NC and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.    Mr. Hillebrand enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working with wood.  He was a sensitive, loving, caring and misunderstood gentleman.  

          In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William Leon Pippin, Sr. and Margaret “Sug” Pidcock Pippin; paternal grandparents, Rolf Hillebrand and Irene Ripkin Hillebrand; uncles, Charles Taylor Pippin, William Leon Pippin, Jr.; aunts, Margaret Pippin Crawford, Marion Hillebrand Rinke.

          In addition to his mother, survivors included his daughter, Amelia Pippin Hillebrand of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Charles “Charlie” Mattes Hillebrand of Jacksonville, FL; half-brother, Andreje Nicholas Hillebrand of Tenerife, Canary Islands; aunt, Karin Hillebrand Conrad (Hans Werner); uncle, Dr. Heiner Rinke; several American and German cousins.

          The family suggest that those who wish, plant a tree in memory of Kristof or memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Baptist Church, 201 12^th Ave. SE, Moultrie, GA. 31768.
