Lanny Suber Jones

MOULTRIE, GA – Lanny Suber Jones, 75, of Moultrie, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024, at Archbold Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Per his wishes, a private family memorial service was held.

Born November 18, 1948, in Colquitt County, he was the son of the late Luther H. Jones and Bettye Suber Jones. Mr. Jones attended Norman Junior College after graduating High School. He was a veteran, having served his country faithfully in the United States Army. Mr. Jones was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR races. He enjoyed grilling out whenever he could. Mr. Jones was a quiet personal man who loved and cherished his family, especially his grandchildren, above all things. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Harriett Allen Jones; daughters, Tonya Miller and husband Shane, Crystal Conelius and Brandon Graham, Rebecca Jones Young and husband Scott; grandchildren, Devin Adderton and wife Amber, Aubrey McDaniel, London McDaniel, Landis McDaniel, Brian Young, Austin Young, Joshua Young, and Carson Young; great-grandchild, Crew Adderton; sister, Monica Jones; brothers, Alan Jones and Brett Jones; and along with numerous extended family members and friends.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
