MOULTRIE, GA – Larry Joe Coleman, 81, of Moultrie, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Lennon Howell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 PM Tuesday at Cobb Funeral Chapel. Born March 2, 1941, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late John Mose Coleman and Alice Bass Coleman. Mr. Larry was a United States Air Force Veteran and retired from the Albany Marine Logistic Base as a butcher. He was a member of Pineview Baptist Church. He loved his family, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and mowing his grass. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Mark Dion Coleman; daughter-in-law, Chris Johnson Coleman. Survivors include his wife, Dwala Parker Coleman of Moultrie; son, Donald Wayne Coleman and Denise of Moultrie; grandchildren, Jerry John Coleman and fiancée Kaylon Adkison, Samantha Brooke Coleman and T.J. Heflin, Carmen Farrow; great-grandchildren, Dewayne Adkison, Annabell Grace Coleman, Zoey Summer Coleman, Sabrina Jackson, Waylon Marc Coleman; sister, Deborah Harrell and Laddie of Chesapeake, VA.
