Lawrence "Larry" Early Smith

Lawrence “Larry” Early Smith, 70, of Moultrie, died Friday, September 4, 2020 at home surrounded by his family.

          A private memorial service will be held at Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Hugh Ward officiating.

          Born October 3, 1949, in Moultrie, he was the son of the late C.O. Smith, Jr. and Jeanette Early Smith.  Mr. Smith loved to spend time and travel with his wife and family, especially to watch beautiful sunsets while relaxing at the beach.  He was an avid sports lover, and baseball was a favorite to watch.  He played soccer and baseball at Westminster and was a proud alumni of UNC Chapel Hill.

          Survivors include his wife, Cynthia “Cindy” Johnson Smith of Moultrie; son, Ethan Smith and wife Debbie of San Francisco, CA; grandsons, Lawson Smith, Julian Smith and Roman Smith; brothers, Charlie Smith and wife Daniela of New York, NY, Markham Smith and wife Ellen of Atlanta, GA, Andy Smith and wife Cina of Mountain Rest, SC; five nieces and nephews and other family members.
