Linda Faye Dorminey Hathcock

Linda Faye Dorminey Hathcock, 78, of Moultrie, died Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Pruitt Health-Magnolia Manor.

          Funeral service will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Woods officiating.  Interment will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

          The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

          Casketbearers will be Mack Hathcock, Tucker Hathcock, Ethan Hathcock, Shane Murphy, Cameron Taylor, Braxton Taylor and Damon Hall.

          Born January 30, 1941 in Worth County, she was the daughter of the late James Thomas Dorminey and Lois Golden Dorminey.  Mrs. Hathcock was a homemaker and was a member of First Baptist Church of Moultrie.  Her family remembers how she loved shopping, her family and enjoyed cooking and baking for them.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Dorminey.

          Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Hathcock of Moultrie; children, Ricky Hathcock and wife Patricia of Whigham GA, Gail Murphy and husband Greg of Marietta GA, Joey Hathcock of Moultrie; grandchildren, Shane Murphy, Thomas Clint McPherson, Mack Hathcock, Tucker Hathcock, Ethan Hathcock and wife Alexus, Whitney Taylor and husband Cameron; great-grandchildren, Tristen McPherson, Cameron McPherson, Braxton Taylor, Haygen Hathcock and Flint Taylor; sisters, Melba Brown of Sylvester GA, Vivian Horne of Moultrie.
