Linda Joyce Saunders Wilson

Linda Joyce Saunders Wilson, 74, of Moultrie, died Thursday, February 13, 2020 at her home.

          Funeral service will be held 4:00PM Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Woods and the Rev. Matt Greene officiating.  Interment will be in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

          The family will receive friends from 6:00PM-8:00PM Friday, February 14, 2020 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

          Casketbearers will be Randy Buckner, Mickey Jackson, Steve Saunders, Trent Wilson, Rick Clements and Roger Walker.

          Born February 22, 1945 in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Norman Saunders and Wynelle Miller Saunders.  Mrs. Wilson was a 1963 Moultrie High School graduate and a member of First Baptist Church of Moultrie.   Her family remembers how she loved her family, golfing, baking, had a great personality and loved to laugh and joke.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Tommy Saunders and Roger Saunders.

          Survivors include her husband and love of her life for 53 years, Edward Jerome “Jerry” Wilson of Moultrie; children, Montae Webb and husband Travis, Ed Wilson and wife Nikki, Kirk Wilson and wife Heather all of Moultrie; grandchildren, Tanner Wilson, John Taylor Wilson, Braston Wilson and Lyla Rose Wilson.
