Linda Bridges Littleton

NORMAN PARK, GA – Linda Bridges Littleton, 79, of Norman Park, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Matt Peek officiating.  Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, May 5, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will be Joey Tomlinson, Ian Chafin, Will Bridges, Al Varnadoe, Matt Varnadoe, John Rowley, Shane Harrelson, Britt Hancock, Steven Mobley, and Adam Mobley.

Born November 11, 1943, in Colquitt County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late W.D. Bridges and Esther Shiver Bridges.  Mrs. Linda retired from Sylvester Textile as a supervisor and was a member of First Baptist Church of Moultrie.   She was a compassionate, caring wife, mother, and grandmother, who adored her family dearly.   Mrs. Linda enjoyed collecting antiques and loved to cook for her family and friends.   She was a kind woman who was always willing to help someone in need and bring a smile to everyone’s face.   

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Littleton.

Survivors include her sons, Lester Bryant Chafin and wife Carla of Sumner, GA, Randy Chafin and wife Carrie of Milner, GA, Scott Chafin and wife Amy of Buford, GA; grandchildren, Jay Chafin, Kip Chafin, Kayla Chafin Harrelson, Anna Chafin Hancock, Emma Chafin, Ian Chafin; numerous  great-grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Bridges Varnadoe and husband Earl of Doerun, GA; brothers, Don Bridges and wife Betty of Hartsfield, GA, Jack Bridges and wife Gina of Pelham, GA; canine friends, Flip and Skip; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other extended family members and friends.
