Linda Sue Welch

 TALLAHASSEE, FL – Linda Sue Pye Welch, 69 of Tallahassee, passed away Friday, May 17, 2024, at her home.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday June, 22nd 2:00 PM at Concord Victory Assembly of God Church, 3012 Concord Rd, Havana, FL 32333. The family will greet friends after the service.  

Born March 26, 1955, in Jacksonville, Florida, she was the daughter of the late L.C. Pye and Verna Mae Redmond Melancon.  Mrs. Linda retired from the Thomas County School System as a teacher.   She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, who loved her family dearly.   Mrs. Linda enjoyed music, dancing, birdwatching, flowers and plants, and going to the beach. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Pye, sisters, Cheryl Tyson, Mary Anne Prickett; nephew, Chael Tyson.

Survivors include her children, Reese Welch, Roxie Clark and husband Brian, Rebecca Porter and husband Denver, Danielle Harvell all of Tallahassee; grandchildren, Cooper, Baley, Peyton, Summer, Riley, Reesa, Tyler, Sarah, Taylor, Luke, Darci, Vince, Mya; sister, Carole Morgan; her fur babies; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
