Lois Marie Gaskins Hancock Warren

Lois Marie Gaskins Hancock Warren, 95, of Moultrie, entered her Heavenly Home Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens with the Brother Bobby Wiard and the Rev. Ricky McLaughlin officiating. Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are recommended. Her grandsons, Shaun Hancock, Corey Hancock, Michael Cosper, Clint Warren, Joey Hancock and Randy Hancock will serve as honorary casketbearers. Born February 16, 1925 in Adel, she was the daughter of the late Preston Gaskins and Lillious Foy Gaskins. Mrs. Warren was a bookkeeper for G.C. Murphy for 22 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of Kingwood Baptist Church. Her smile could light up our lives at any time, regardless of the circumstances. She loved life, her family and her Legacy Village family. Everyone she met she called a friend. Heaven has truly gained a precious and special angel. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Julian Clifford Hancock and her second husband, John David Warren; two sons, James Julian Hancock and Charles Hancock; and two brothers. Survivors include two sons, Randall Hancock (Liz), and Ronnie Hancock (Sandra), all of Moultrie; daughter, Kathy Peacock (Chuck) of Tifton; daughter-in- law, Ann Hancock of Moultrie; six grandchildren, Randy Hancock (Tori), Shaun Hancock (Brandi), Corey Hancock, Michael Cosper, Kayla Warren (Clint) and Joey Hancock; six great-grandchildren; and a step-son, Joe Warren of Crawfordville,Fl.
