Louise Bailey Casteel

Charlotte Louise Bailey Casteel, 92, of Moultrie, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Jerry Ingle officiating.  The family will greet friends after the service. 

Born November 19, 1929, in Gordon County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Allen Bailey and Mary Rebecca Self Bailey Wade.  Mrs. Casteel retired as a housekeeper and was of the Baptist faith.  She was a loving, caring woman who enjoyed singing gospel songs and praising the Lord. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Dale Casteel; sons, John Dale Casteel, Jr., Bobby Ray Casteel, sisters, Edith Barker, Ruth Ingle, Earnestine Morse.

Survivors include her eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Vaudie Clayton, Martha Gray, Carolyn Kelly; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
