Louise Gray Tucker

THOMASVILLE, GA- Louise Gray Tucker, 98, of Thomasville, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022, at the Residence at Oak Grove Assistant Living in Thomasville, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 23, 2022, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ricky Whitley officiating.  Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45PM on Friday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Born August 29, 1924, in Sarasota, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Wilce Gray and Vera Kilgore Gray.  Mrs. Tucker was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.   She was a hardworking woman who grew up on a farm, enjoyed working outside in her yard and going shopping.  Mrs. Tucker loved the Lord, and was able to serve Him, by teaching Sunday school and playing the piano at nursing homes.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Lamar Tucker; brother, Clarence Gray and wife Toy Gray; sisters, Lucille Clark and husband Ralph, Dorothy Conner and husband Bobby, Mildred Stripling and husband Billy.

Survivors include her children, Douglas Lamar Tucker and Luellen of Leesburg, GA, Connie Enfinger and husband Charles of Thomasville, GA; grandchildren, Jennifer Tucker Weathers and husband Dusten, Joseph Tucker.
