Mackenzie "Kenzie" Nicole Turpen

Knoxville, TN – Mackenzie “Kenzie” Nicole Turpen, 31, of Knoxville, TN and formerly of Moultrie, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Fort Sanders Medical Center surrounded by her family. Her family will receive friends on Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Cobb Funeral Chapel. All other services will be private. Born August 6, 1991, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of Renny and Rachele Rackley Turpen. Kenzie was a sweet soul who loved her family, especially her beloved fur baby Boomer. She had a talent for making lifelong friends whom she cherished. Kenzie enjoyed travel and loved all things Christmas. She attended law school before deciding to enrich the lives of others by teaching. Kenzie had just graduated with her Masters Degree in Education and planned to be a teacher. She has left a lasting mark on the lives of many and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Jean Rackley. Survivors include her parents, Renny and Rachele Turpen of Hahira; her brother, Cody Turpen and wife Erica of Hahira; niece, Harper Turpen; paternal grandmother, Gloria Eaves; aunt, Becki Davis and husband Andy; and host of extended family members and close friends.
