Margie Ann Simmons Henderson

MOULTRIE, GA – Margie Ann Simmons Henderson, 85, of Moultrie passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 29, 2024, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Trey Eakins officiating.   Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.    The family will receive friends after the service at Westview Cemetery. 

Casketbeareres will be Craig Lokey and Chris Lokey and honorary casketbearer will be Keith Lokey. 

Born March 26, 1939, in Colquitt County Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Hayward Simmons and Ann Bates Sanders.    Ms. Margie retired from Verizon Telephone Company and was also associated with Bell South Telecommunications and AT&T.   She was loving, caring woman who was always willing to help others and loved animals. 

Survivors include several cousins, and other extended family members and friends.  

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
