Marilyn Dianne Brinkley Sasser, 67, of Hartsfield, died Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held 2:00PM Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Born January 22, 1953 in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late James Lawson “Bud” Brinkley and Annie Maude Hicks Brinkley. Mrs. Sasser retired from the U.S.D.A. as an agriculture inspector and was a member of Hartsfield Baptist Church. Her family remembers how she was very outgoing and always voiced her opinion. She was known for her great sense of humor.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Brinkley.
Survivors include her sons, Michael Sasser and wife Danielle, Matthew Sasser all of Hartsfield, Brent Calloway of Norman Park; daughter, Courtney Ruis of Moultrie; grandchildren, Zach Strickland, Dillyn Sasser and Ethan Sasser; brothers, Larry Brinkley and wife Janice of Tallahassee, FL, Darrell Brinkley of Hartsfield; sister, Debra Ruis of Moultrie.
