Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Goff Ellison

Mary Elizabeth “Beth” Goff Ellison, 91, of Moultrie, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Julian Griner officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Born May 20, 1931, in Pelham Georgia, she was the daughter of the late David Oliver Goff and Manila Loyless Goff. Mrs. Ellison was retired from Wells Aluminum and was part of Praise Baptist Church.  She liked putting together puzzles, gardening and especially enjoyed dancing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Douglas Whitehead, Houston Whitehead, Arthur Goff; sisters, Mildred Hayden and Betty Hurst; grandson, Stephen Ellison

Survivors include her sons, Brian Ellison and wife Melissa, Lynn Ellison; daughters, Elizabeth Ranew and husband Andre, Carolyn Crawley Carter; brother, William Mack Goff and wife Dorothy; grandchildren, Rene Rice, Christine Howard, Marie Burke, Darrell Griffin, Josh Ranew, Zach Ranew, Dillon Warner, Britany Ellison, Kylie Thompson, Samantha Ellison, Adam Ellison, Lindsey Newell; thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
