Mary Edith Stallings McMullen

Mary Edith Stallings McMullen, 73, of Moultrie, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, GA.

A private family service will be held at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Rev. Julian Griner officiating.  Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.  Her grandchildren will serve as casketbearers. 

Born January 3, 1948, in Moultrie, GA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Millard Stallings and Dotsie Terry Stallings.  Having worked for thirty years with General Telephone Electric, Mrs. McMullen retired as a regional supply supervisor.  She held a Bachelor of Science degree from Valdosta State College. Spending time with her precious grandchildren and reading were her favorite things to do.

Survivors include her husband of nearly 50 years, Ronald “Mac” McMullen; children, Keli McMullen Gibson and husband Rod of Amelia Island, FL., Nikki Lyn Spires of Moultrie, and Jason Ronald McMullen of Moultrie; grandchildren, Jack and Katherine Gibson, Will, Matthew, Emma, and Elizabeth Spires, and Karlie McMullen; siblings, Roscoe Stallings and wife Betty, Sue Stallings, Bonnie Patterson, all of Moultrie, and Tom Stallings and wife Janet of Camilla.
