Matthew Tanksley Hill

Moultrie, Ga – Matthew Tanksley Hill, 46, of Brooklet, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. A Memorial Service will be held in the spring of 2023 to celebrate his life. Born November 5, 1976, in Bulloch County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Lewis Tanksley and Patricia McAllister Tanksley. Matt was a talented hairdresser and a caring person who enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved to have fun and could most often be found with a genuine smile of joy displayed for all to see. Matt dearly loved his family and close friends. His bright smile and love for others will be missed by those who knew him. In addition to his parents, Matt was preceded in death by his first husband, Larry Hill and a sister, Robin Tanksley. Survivors include his niece, Hailey Cheyenne Stewart; great-niece, Hailey Esmarie Brady; along with extended family members and dear friends.
