Michael "Mike" P. Del Prete

Michael P. “Mike” Del Prete, 67, of Moultrie, GA, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Dr. David Benton officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday at the chapel.  A private inurnment will be held in Rose Hill Cemetery. 

Born December 10, 1953, he was the son of the late Michael Archangel Anthony Joseph Pasquale Del Prete and Mary Louise Underhill Del Prete.  Mr. Del Prete was a 1973 graduate of Moultrie High School.  He was a loving and supportive “Poppy” to his kids and grandchildren, and he loved to spoil his wife and help with all household tasks.  His favorite pastime was to cheer Alabama’s Crimson Tide football team.  He was an active member of Rose Hill Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his wife, Debra Loretta Bryant Del Prete; children, April Stringer and husband Hal of Metcalfe, GA, Christy Sadler Dryden and husband Steven of Moultrie, Tasha Sadler Austin and husband Steve of Hartsfield, Shawn Sadler of Ocala, Fla;  grandchildren, Cadence Stephens, Dakotah Turpin, Sam Dryden, Taylor Wood, Carley Sadler, Camden Sadler, Olivia Sadler; siblings, Frances Chumas and husband Nick of Elkhart, Indiana, Joe Del Prete of Ocala, Fla, Barbara Del Prete of Moultrie, Jim Del Prete and wife Marilyn of Moultrie.
