Milford Bruce Leigh

MOULTRIE – Milford Bruce Leigh, 80, of Moultrie passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family.

Graveside services will be held at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens with Reverend Matt Peek officiating.

The family will receive friends after the service.

Born July 9, 1943, in Thomaston, Georgia, he was the son of the late Johnson Blevin Leigh and Maggie Kent Leigh.  Mr. Leigh loved his family dearly and worked hard to provide for them.  He was a very intelligent and resourceful man.  Mr. Leigh had a Private Pilot License earning him a place in the sky.   He loved to read to increase his knowledge and was a talented poet.  Mr. Leigh was a skilled craftsman and could build anything with his hands.  He loved his Lord and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Moultrie.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Connie Daniel Leigh of Moultrie; daughters, Lisa Leigh Norris and husband John, and Tina Leigh Griner and husband David, all of Moultrie; grandchildren, Alex Norris Portier and husband Trey, Aubrey Norris Bennett and husband Blake, Ashlan Norris Mercer and husband Charles, and Trent Griner and wife Jenna; great-grandchildren, Woods Portier, Myers Mercer and John Mark Bennett; brother, Larry Leigh and wife Becky of Sautee Nacoochee, GA; and several extended family member and friends.
