Neal William Clark

Neal William Clark, 86, of Sparks, died Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Legacy Village of Tifton.

          Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Josh Purvis officiating.  Private interment will be held in Hopewell Cemetery.   Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing will be required.

          Born January 27, 1934 in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Bertis Robert Clark and Alma Herndon Clark.  Mr. Clark was a farmer and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.   He was a strong-willed and all-around great man that always sacrificed for his family- his family was his heart.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife of 37 years, Irma Sue Allegood Clark; second wife, Shirley Edmondson Clark; son Don Neal Clark; sister, Faye Clark Murphy.

          Survivors include his daughters, Carole Clark Stewart and husband Al of Sparks, Wanda Clark Potter, Susan Clark Bass both of Moultrie; grandchildren, Beth Skidmore, Tommy Clark and wife Michelle, Jennifer McCant and husband Lee, Tom Edward Bass; great-grandchildren, Marcus Thompson, Duron Rushing, Annabelle Clark, Emma Clark, Malakai McCant, Ian McCant; great-great-grandchildren, Aiden Thompson, Ahlani Arevalo; special friends, Terry Wise, Greg Bennett and the caregivers of Legacy Village of Tifton.
