Nellie “Ann” Bailey, 68, of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at her home.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, February 15, 2021 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Talladega, AL with the Rev. Gerald Horne officiating.
Born July 22, 1952 in Calhoun County, she was the daughter of the late W.C. Brown and Edna Earl Jobson Brown. Mrs. Bailey was a clerk at Bob’s and Ann’s Convenience Store. She loved the outdoors, going to the river gathering rocks and driftwood. Mrs. Bailey enjoyed animals, doing crafts and working in the garden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. “Bob” Bailey; sons, Christopher Kringle Scott and Shane Scott; brother, Donald Lackey.
Survivors include her son, Thomas Scott and wife Cindy of Thomasville; grandchildren, Tyler Scott, Houston Griffin, Hunter Scott and Zarron Scott; great-grandchild, Eason Scott; brothers, Daniel Lackey and wife Kimberly, Chris Lackey and wife Jennifer, Wayne Lackey; sisters, Linda Martin and Lucille Lackey.
