Nellie Jack Baker Felts

MOULTRIE, GA – Nellie Jack Baker Felts, 88, of Moultrie, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, July 24, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Caleb Miller and the Reverend Drew Felts officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00-2:45 PM Monday at Cobb Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Nellie’s grandchildren will serve as casketbearers. Born September 15, 1934, in Tift County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Youles Baker and Lillie Roberts Baker Gay. Mrs. Nellie retired from the Dougherty County School System as a school secretary and was a member of Autreyville Baptist Church. She was a devoted Christian, enjoyed reading and studying her Bible. Mrs. Nellie was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly and was very supportive of them. During her lifetime, she went on many adventures traveling all over the country and enjoyed the different types of food each place offered. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Felts. Survivors include her children, Debora Miller and David of Decatur, AL, Susan Folds and John of Moultrie, Dr. Carl Ray Felts and Beth of Moultrie; grandchildren, Josh Miller and Brooke, Caleb Miller and Amy, Dusty Clark and Jessica, Andrew Felts and Angela, Zachary Felts and Jessi, Matthew Felts and Shelby, Kyle Folds and Callie, Tamie Fulgham, Dallas Folds, Dylan Folds, Madison Folds, Taylor Fulgham; great-grandchildren, Olivia Clark, Jack Clark, Emory Miller, Naomi Miller, Jed Miller, Addison Felts; uncle, Arlie Roberts; several extended family members and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the Georgia Sheriff Boys Ranch, 5671 Boys Ranch Road, Hahira, GA. 31632. Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
