CLIMAX, GA- Nolie Young Croft, 99, of Climax and formerly of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Archbold Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 8, 2024, at Wesley Chapel UMC with Reverend Thomas Parrish officiating. Interment will follow in Wesley Chapel Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:45 AM Friday at Wesley Chapel.
Casket Bearers will be Caleb Croft, Caleb Jones, Tony Corner, Robert Brown, Jason Croft and Bobby Alderman.
Born December 12, 1924, in Colquitt County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ethel Young. Mrs. Croft was a Servant of God for over 80 years. She spent over 62 years faithfully serving others as a Pastor’s wife alongside her husband, Reverend Claude E. Croft. Mrs. Croft was a living example of a Proverbs 31 wife and helped mold many other women through her godly example. She raised her children and grandchildren on Biblical principles and cherished each one of them in her heart. Mrs. Croft was a faithful member of the churches where her family served but carried a special place in her heart for her home church of Wesley Chapel. She is dearly loved by her family who will miss her until they see her again in Heaven.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Reverend Claude E. Croft; her son, Larry Croft; her daughter, Jacquelyn Brown; and a number of her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Jason Croft and wife Kimberly, Robert Brown and wife Tammi, Miche Corner and husband Tony, and Adam Croft; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Eli, Garland Croft, Shekinah, Caleb, Destiny Jones; great-great grandchildren, Catori, Trevon, Huey; sister, Ann Miller; and number of extended family members.
