Opal Mae Teresa Wilson Beck

Opal Mae Teresa Wilson Beck, 82, of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Tony Morris officiating.

The family will greet friends from 6-8:00 PM Friday, April 1, 2022, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Born May 20, 1939, in Opelika, AL, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Wilson and Nellie Gainey Wilson.  Mrs. Opal retired from Riverside Manufacturing Company as a machine operator and attended Zion Grove Baptist Church.    She loved the Lord, her family, reading the bible.  She enjoyed making candy, gardening, cooking, and going fishing.  Her family will always remember her as being the anchor that held the family together. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Eva Burtz, Irene Rigsby, Pearline Wilson, Levi Benton and Lottie Wilson.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Beck of Moultrie; children, Angie Morgan of Moultrie, Timothy Lee Beck and wife Carmen of Ochlocknee, Melissa Ann Beck, Mark Beck and wife Bonita all of Moultrie; grandchildren, Hannah Sauls and husband Terry Jr., Diann Beck, Dillon Beck, and Ashton Beck; great-grandchildren, Kylar Moxley, Nolan Beck and Sophia Johnson; brothers, Levi Wilson and Dewitt Wilson; several nieces, nephews and other family members.
