Patsy "Pat" Louise McMullen Clark

MOULTRIE, GA – Patsy “Pat” Louise McMullen Clark, 83, of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Legacy Village at Park Regency.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.  Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-2:45 PM Sunday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will be Mark Parker, Cory Clark, Mitchell Fountain, and Peyton Clark.

Born November 18, 1939, in Pavo, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Howard L. McMullen and Agnes Merritt McMullen.  Mrs. Pat was affectionally known as “Mama Pat” by everyone who knew her.  She was a true southern lady, wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved her family dearly and enjoyed family gatherings.  Mama Pat was a child of God who loved her Lord.  She showed her obedience to God by extending her grace, mercy, and helpfulness towards others.  Mama Pat will always be remembered as a happy lady who lived her life to the fullest, and brought joy to everyone around her.  She would light up a room with her radiant blue eyes and affectionate smile.   Her motto was always “Every day’s a good day”.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ponda Zack “P.Z.” Clark, Sr.; siblings, Margie Slater, Homer McMullen and Evelola Sanders.

Survivors include her children, Ponda Zack Clark, Jr. and wife Julie, Patrice Parker and husband Mark, Paxton Clark and wife Misty; grandchildren, Cory Clark, Casey Clark, Mitchell Fountain and wife Gina, Peyton Clark, MaKinley Clark; five great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald McMullen; several extended family members and friends.
