Pauline Chambers Arnett

BAY, GA – Pauline Chambers Arnett, 101, of Bay, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Legacy Village at Park Regency.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Funston Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Ron Shiver officiating. 

The family will receive friends after the service in Funston Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be Darren Bryant, Chad Taylor, Travis Gandy, Cody Green, Casey Green, Jake Hart and Jed Hart.  

Born December 28, 1921, in Carroll County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late William Walter Chambers and Cora Susan Holley Chambers.  Mrs. Arnett was a longtime member of Funston Baptist Church.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her time with her family, church family, and friends at Legacy Village.   She enjoyed cooking for everyone and made sure they had plenty to eat.  Mrs. Arnett was loved by many and will be missed by all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Robert Clyde Arnett; daughter, Janice Bryant; grandson, Robert Bryant; great-granddaughters, Leigh Bryant and Macey Green; several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her children, Paula Taylor, Kittie Gandy, Robbie Briggs, Bob Arnett, Debbie Green; grandchildren, Darren Bryant, Chad Taylor, Keith Taylor, Travis Gandy, Shana Hart, Candas Bennett, Ashlie Arnett, Kelsey Cravey, Cody Green, Casey Green; fifteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
