COOLIDGE, GA.- Randall Dean Sammons, 69, of Coolidge, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family.
The family will hold a private Memorial Service.
Born April 25, 1955, in Sylvester, GA, he was the son of the late Carlton Sammons and Bloncille Barfield Sammons. Mr. Sammons loved being outdoors especially when he was fishing or hunting. He loved his family dearly and strived to be the best husband, father and friend that he could be. Mr. Sammons had a great sense of humor and enjoyed playing pranks on those around him. He worked for many years as the Warehouse and Cutting Room Manager at Riverside Manufacturing. Mr. Sammons loved the Lord and was a faithful member of New Hope Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jason Sammons; sister, Debbie Walton; and brother, Jimmy Sammons.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Jane Whitaker Sammons; sons, Matthew Sammons, Chris Sammons, and Ethan Sammons and fiancée Rachel Bryant; grandchildren, Matthew Sammons, Kayden Brown, Gentry Patterson, Cason Bryant, and Charlie Bryant; siblings, John Sammons and wife Shelia, Carla Smith, Jeff Sammons, and Pam Massey; along with a number of extended family members and friends.
Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
