DOUGLAS, GA – Randy Lee Cooper, 66, of Douglas, formerly of Moultrie, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Coffee Regional Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 6, 2022, in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 PM Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
Born September 28, 1956, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late AJ Cooper and Toye Fillyaw Cooper. Mr. Randy retired from the City of Moultrie as a powerline technician and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. He loved his family and supported the Colquitt County Packers. Mr. Randy was a hard worker and in his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Alice Pearl Culpepper and Sandra Faye Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Norrell Cooper of Douglas, GA; children, Christopher Lee Cooper and Mandy Stripling both of Moultrie, Faith Elizabeth Gregory and Travis of Alabama, Matthew Cooper, Raymund Smith, Russell Smith, Jessica Smith all of Douglas, GA; grandchildren, Hunter Eugene Cooper, Braylon Smith, Crystin Cooper, Ajay Cooper; siblings, Brenda Joyce Gray and Howard of Worth County, GA, Bobbie Culpepper, Carol C. Weldon both of Moultrie, Ricky Lynn Cooper of Tifton; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
