Rena Clark McKinney

Rena Clark McKinney, 90, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on July 16, 2022, at Cobblestone Nursing Home in Moultrie.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with Renee Truett and Mitchell McKinney speaking.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at Cobb Funeral Chapel. 

Born February 1, 1932, in Wilcox County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Frank E. Clark and Gillie Guthrie Clark.  She was a supervisor, retiring from Wells Aluminum.  Mrs. McKinney was an avid reader who loved to cook.  Hosting family gatherings was one of her favorite things to do.  She was a member of Tyson Memorial United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth Taylor and Jewell Hollingsworth.

Survivors include her son, Mike McKinney and wife Ponda of Moultrie; grandchildren, Renee Truett and husband Darrell, Mitchell McKinney and wife Carissa, and Michael McKinney, all of Moultrie; great-grandchildren, Bailey Truett, Fynlee McKinney, Mercy Kate McKinney; sister, Joyce Clifton and husband Bill of Warner Robins; brother, Frank Clark of Warner Robins; and several special nieces and nephews.
