Robert Steven Cooper

Robert Steven Cooper, 61, of Moultrie, passed away, Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 22, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Johnny Cooper officiating.  Interment will be held in Carlton Family Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 AM on Friday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Casketbearers will be Jonathan Cooper, Justin Cooper, Gene Cooper, Tyler Croft, Hank Carlton and Mike Peek.

Born May 25, 1960, in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Lonnie Ervin Cooper and Betty Phillips Cooper.  Mr. Cooper retired as a welder and fabricator.   He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.   He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing, boating, and white-water rafting.  Mr. Cooper liked to watch paranormal videos and play chess.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Adam Cooper; brother, Terry Cooper; sisters-in-law, Peggy Cooper and Wanda Cooper.

Survivors include his sons, Jacob Cooper and wife Kristin, Daniel Cooper all of Moultrie; grandchildren, Gavin Cooper, Eli Cooper, Katelyn Cooper and Emma Cooper; mother of his children, Kathy Carlton Holton of Moultrie; siblings, Judy Bales, Pat Gay and husband Frankie, Rusty Cooper all of Moultrie, Betty Jo Puckett of Nashville, GA.
