Robert Everett Groff, Jr.

MOULTRIE, GA- Robert Everett Groff, Jr., 69, of Moultrie, passed away Monday, November 14, 2022, at his home.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Julian Griner officiating.

The family will greet friends after the service at Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

Born October 25, 1953, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Robert Everett Groff and Eula Walden Groff.  Mr. Groff was a United States Army Veteran.  He retired from Wells Aluminum and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  Mr. Groff was an avid sports fan who enjoyed listening to Packer Football Radio featuring Darrell Strange and Durwood Dorminey.   

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Ann Groff.

Survivors include his children, Jason Groff of Illinois, Robert Groff of Utah, and Chris Groff of Illinois; five grandchildren; siblings, David B. Groff and wife Debbie of Loganville, GA, Bill Groff and wife Cathy of Atlanta, GA; niece and nephews, Garrett Groff and wife Manda, Taylor Groff, Kennington Groff, and Camden Groff.
