Robert Joseph Hanes

MOULTRIE, GA.- Robert Joseph Hanes, 52, of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024, at his residence.

The family will hold a Memorial Service at 2 PM on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at New Covenant Full Gospel Church with Rev. Mark Hancock officiating.

Born December 4, 1971, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of the late Russell Hanes and Deloris Chizmar Hanes. Mr. Hanes was an avid music lover and musician who enjoyed playing his guitar. He loved his dogs dearly. Mr. Hanes was a hard worker and skilled craftsman who worked for Michael Moore Construction.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Eva Hanes.

Survivors include his sister, Maria Pauline Hanes; uncle, Albert “Al” Hanes and wife Erin; aunt, Debra “Debbie” Hanes; cousins Jason Valerius and wife LeAnn and Joshua Hanes; and a number of extended family members and friends.
