BYRON, GA – Ronald B. Cannon, 82, of Byron, and formerly of Doerun, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Navicent Peach Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday,August 10, 2024, at Doerun Cemetery with Doctor David Benton officiating.
Born February 14, 1942, in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Ethel Tumlin Andrews and Robert B. Cannon. Mr. Ronald will always be remembered as a kind man full of love for others. He was a true friend to those who had the pleasure to know him. Mr. Ronald was a gifted and avid woodturner who made countless beautiful items as gifts for his family and friends. He also enjoyed playing golf and appreciated the beauty of nature outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, a nephew, and a niece.
Survivors include his special nieces, Mary Sackie and husband Steve, and Faye Senkbeil; great nieces, Tiffany Critchfield and Sarah Cane; great nephew, Jon Cane and wife Megan; great-great niece, Eliza Critchfield, brother-in-law and best friends, Dr. Charles Williams and wife Pat; special cousin, Jimmy Tumlin and wife Hope; and several cousins, extended family members and friends.
