Scott Jerome Pettyjohn

Scott Jerome Pettyjohn, 57, of Norman Park, died Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

          Funeral service will be held 2:00PM Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Andy Cashwell officiating.  Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Cobb Funeral Chapel.  Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are recommended.

          Casketbearers will be Brandon McClelland, Bo Parten, Mike Hampton, Jarrod Roberts, Justin Allegood and Brad Castleberry.

          Born May 18, 1963, in Moultrie, he was the son of late James Willie Pettyjohn and Mildred Leola Howard Pettyjohn.  Mr. Pettyjohn retired from Omega Farm Supply as the marketing manager and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.  He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his precious wife.  Scott enjoyed fishing, going to the beach, and riding the golf cart.    

          Survivors include his wife, Gay Lynn Turner Pettyjohn of Norman Park; daughter, Mary Lynn Hayden and husband Chris of Moultrie; grandchildren, Turner Castleberry, Walker Story and Carson Hayden; sisters, Merry Anne Brazel, Connie Thornton and husband Terry all of Moultrie; brother, Larry Pettyjohn and wife Linda of Moultrie.
