Shealyn "Shea" Alicia Allman

DECATUR, GA- Shealyn “Shea” Alicia Allman of Decatur, and formerly of Moultrie, peacefully transitioned from this earthly world to the Kingdom of God on November 10, 2022 in Decatur, Georgia. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Pinecrest Cemetery. Born June 19, 1975, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late Glenwood Mitchell Allman and Janice Horne Allman. Those who knew Shea knew of her deep adoration for her precious dog, Jax, as well as her love of Nascar. She had established a very successful career in higher education as the Curriculum Specialist at Georgia State University for seventeen years. She was truly the “go-to” person for all things curriculum, scheduling, and often served as a college historian. Shea courageously fought a long, difficult battle with pulmonary hypertension. Her wonderful Georgia accent, beautiful spirit, and equally beautiful smile will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents, Shea was preceded in death by her brother, Josh Allman. Survivors include her nephew, Sage Gavon Allman; niece, Elizabeth Lynn Allman; sister-in-law, Natalie Allman; several aunts, uncles, and cousins along with countless friends whom she all loved dearly.
