Sherryl Weathers Womack

Sherryl Weathers Womack, 78, of Blairsville, formerly of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 12, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel in Moultrie with the Reverend Ron Shiver officiating.  Interment will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.  

Born November 30, 1943, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late David Earl Weathers and Myrtle Bynum Weathers.  Mrs. Sherryl was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She taught for 36 years and inspired 3 of her children, one of their spouses and a grandchild to continue her legacy of service.  Her life touched and bettered many generations of others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Marshal Womack; grandson, Malcolm Womack Wynne.

Survivors include her children, Shane Womack and wife Janene, Dr. Carlise Womack Wynne and husband Dr. Ben Wynne, Tracy Pittman and husband Doug, Gene Womack and wife Laura, Teresa Whiddon; grandchildren, David Womack, Reese Womack, Lily Wynne, Cotton Wynne, Mickey Vestal, Jordy Vestal, Meena Pittman, Autumn Pittman, Shanele Collins and husband Paul, Lance Womack and wife Kourtney, Corey Womack and wife Dawn, Stephanie Whiddon, Scott Whiddon and wife Alexis; great-grandchildren, Riley Collins, Cooper Collins, Landon Womack,  Grayson Womack, Baillie Womack, Lyla Womack, Austin Johnson, Kalvin Johnson, Jack Whiddon; siblings, Bill Weathers, Earlene Knight.
