MOULTRIE, GA. – Ted Leon Glover, 67, of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Born June 29, 1953 in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Oscar Fred Barker and Mayrell Grogan Glover-Barker. Mr. Glover was employed at Alderman Classic Realty as a realtor and was of the Baptist faith. He was a United States Navy Veteran and served on the USS CVN68 Nimitz during the Vietnam War. His family remembers how he loved his family, and friends. He enjoyed fishing, watching Packer football and real estate. He loved spending time with his friends and family. If you were ever a friend, you were never forgotten. We will miss him, his stories, his photographs, his unending willingness to help, his amazing fried-egg sandwiches, his hugs, and his mileage updates of his beloved two-toned 1992 Chevy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Ray Glover, Willie Carl “John” Glover, Jr.; mother of his children Mary Potter; nephews, Trent Glover, Rusty Simpson, Shannon Simpson and Craig Simpson.
Survivors include his wife, Vicky E. Adams Glover of Moultrie; children, Jennifer Glover Mothershed and husband Donny, Daniel Potter and wife Lisa, Tonya Graddy, Daniel Holt, Amanda Holt-Hall; grandchildren, Kristina Mothershed, Taylor Mothershed, Glen Potter, Tony Potter, Shaylee Hall, Leelan Hall, Hailee Hall, Rylee Hall; sister, Sherry Ann Glover Shinn and husband Ray; brothers, Bobby Lee Glover and wife Karen, Danny Thomas Glover and wife Vickie Gay, Johnney Kim Barker and wife Patsy, Steve Wayne Barker; mother of his children Sherrie Soderstrom.
