Terry Dan Taylor, 61, of Moultrie, died Monday, June 8, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, a graveside service will be held 11:00AM Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Matt Peek officiating.
Honorary casketbearers will be Gatewood Dudley, Terry Grainger, Mickey Carter, Sam Stephens, Michael Johnson, Leon Sellers, and Kenny Hammock.
Born April 17, 1959 in Moultrie, he was the son of the late George Franklin Taylor II and Vivian Cecile Meaux Taylor. Mr. Taylor was the owner/operator of Taylor Manufacturing Company and attended First Baptist Church of Moultrie. He was a former member of Southside Volunteer Fire Department, enjoyed collecting antiques and dearly loved the Mexico Beach Artificial Reef Association. Mr. Taylor loved his family, friends and was Papa to his grandsons.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Jerry Lee Taylor.
Survivors include his daughters, Kristen Taylor and Robert Hambly, Laura Calloway and husband Jacob all of Moultrie; the mother of his children, Carla Taylor of Moultrie; brother, George F. Taylor, Jr. and wife Sue of Norman Park; sister, Cecile Junkin and husband Jimmy of Alabama; grandchildren, Hudson Calloway, Walker Reeves Calloway.
