Thomas Walton Brown

             Thomas Walton Brown, 84, of Moultrie, died Monday, October 19, 2020, at his residence.

            The graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 22, 2020, at Oak Dale Baptist Church Cemetery with grandson Gregory Ryan Brown officiating.  The family will greet family and friends one hour prior to the service at the gravesite. 

            Born April 20, 1936, in Worth County, he was the son of the late George Walter Brown and Mary Elma Lightfoot Brown.  Mr. Brown loved his family and worked diligently to provide for them.  He was a long-standing and loyal employee of Briggs’ Auto Parts since the mid 50’s.  He was a great mechanic who loved to fish, hunt quail, and race at Patton Speedway in the 60’s. He always tried to help other people. 

            Survivors include his wife Carolyn Wynell Barnes Brown of Moultrie; son, Thomas Gregory Brown of Moultrie; grandchildren, Gregory Ryan Brown and wife Heather Reynolds Brown of Moultrie, Ashley Suzanne Fountain of Moultrie; great-grandchildren, Bailee Thomas Fountain, Robert Edward Brown, and Davis Ryan Brown; brother, Gary Wayne Brown and wife Mary Jo of Worth County.
